On 22 March 2023 I gave a talk on As Long As I Keep Busy to Jami UK, which supports many hundreds of people each year impacted by mental health problems, enabling those isolated because of their mental distress to become re-engaged with their family, friends and local community.

Two award winning documentary photographers, Jim Mortram and Roxana Savin, have commented positively on As Long As I Keep Busy:
“Imagine my pleasure and frankly my surprise to discover that YES you had bothered to include the stories of the people that you have so beautifully photographed! It's an important and timely and necessary story to be told and I would say that you've made a substantial job of it!” - Jim Mortram
“I really enjoyed looking at your work. I think that the topic you investigate is very important and would be relevant not only to people in the UK but also internationally. I really enjoyed the life stories of the people as they offer a glimpse into their private lives, their struggles, disappointments, their hopes and dreams, which are all universal human experiences. I appreciate your nuanced approach towards the topic and making the distinction between ‘being lonely’ and ‘living alone’. Although there is a sense of melancholy prevalent throughout the project, reading the testimonies of the subjects allows for a layered understanding of the theme.” - Roxana Savin
